Liaison Officers
Librarians are assigned to Faculties/Institutes as liaison officers to facilitate the use of information in support of teaching, learning and research of the Faculties/Institutes concerned. Each Faculty/Institute has at least one librarian linked to it. They will work with Faculties/institutes in developing the Centre’s teaching materials, liaising with academic staff to determine the resource needs of new and existing courses and ensuring that recommended reading materials are available in the Centre. In support of research, they will be ready to offer bibliographical assistance and to advise on information resources.
